Yoga to Tap into Your Intuition

A Yoga class to help you feel empowered.

Let your Intuition guide you. It’s all about going within and breathing.

We do most of the class seated, so get comfortable and begin with a few spinal circles – stirring the pot

We spend a delicious amount of time with an arm sequence, opening up the side body and releasing into our shoulders and necks – it’s delicious once you get into the groove.

A wonderful way to lubricate the spine and learn to listen to your body and what it want’s and needs today.

We spend a little time exploring different cat stretch movements, a twist and then ending in a seated meditation where we focus on the breath and energy travelling up and down the spine.

Remember that when you quieten the mind and go within, you’re hear what your body is telling you. You are your best teacher. The wisdom is within.

Quieten the mind, quieten the thoughts and you will hear.

Yoga for Stress and Overwhelm

Yoga for Stress and Overwhelm Join us in class where we get to Surrender.

Surrendering is a state of grace, not a sign of weakness. What are you ready or needing to let go of?

The need to know, the need to be right, the need to control, the need for perfection? We’re going to let it all go!!!

We start in Child’s Pose with the palms up.

Transition into a deep exhaling Cat stretch and then transition into a Cat – child pose sequence.

Our Downward dog brings us to our feet where we play with a forward bend variation to calm and sooth our nervous system while stretching and releasing hamstrings.

We end on our belly’s with some dynamic cobra variations to balance our adrenal glands.

The sleeping crocodile let’s us settle into a deep relaxations where we work with the affirmation – I am whole, I trust, I am love, I am.

Yoga to Boost Your Energy

Take less than 10 minutes to give yourself a boost of energy this morning.

A class to do when you need to get fired up to tackle something ahead of you.

Ramp up your energy to get through your day in a positive manner.

We start standing with the Breath of joy – arms forward, side, up exhale through mouth down. Release stagnant energy, let go of what is not serving you.

We spend some time in sound circles, then move into a dynamic warrior and side angle sequence where we feel grounded and secure in our base, while free, light and expansive in our upper body.

A Goddess flow brings us back to our breath while we take ourselves into a dynamic shoulder release – NOTE – shoulder towards opposite knee (not elbow 🙈)

We end with a Down dog, cat stretch and seated breathing meditation where we return to our centre, our midline.

This month has been lovely and challenging on so many levels and it’s been such an honour for me to guide you through it.

Today we are going to go through a gentle yoga sequence together, working on our heart and spleen meridian, as well as gentle chest and hip openers.

A great way to end of the month and prepare you for the next!.
